Lenovo announces 4 new tablets at MWC2017

This whole week you will see many announcements on Chinatechtoday that has been made during the MWC2017. Next to all the smartphone news, Lenovo has announced 4 new tablets at the MWC! The Lenovo Tab 4, Lenovo Yoga 520, Lenovo Yoga 720 and Lenovo Miix 320.

Lenovo Tab 4

The Lenovo Tab 4 will come in two series, the normal Tab 4 and the Tab 4 Plus. Both are also devided into 8 and 10 inch variants. The entry-level model starts at $109 and features a 8 inch display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, a 5 megapixel camera on the back, a 2 megapixel front camera, stereo speakers and Android Nougat. The 10 inch version will have almost the same hardware, but comes with a bigger screen and battery which will have a pricetage of $149.

The Lenovo Tab 4 Plus series feature a Full HD display, a Snapdragon 625 processor, USB Type C port, microSD card slot, 8 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera and fingerprint scanner. The Lenovo Tab 4 Plus will be available in two variants, a 3GB RAM/ 16GB ROM version and a 4GB RAM/ 64GB version. The basic price will be $249 and is expected in May.

Lenovo Yoga 520

The latest tablet in the convertible Yoga series is the Lenovo Yoga 520 which has a pricetag of $800 and is expected to be available in May. The Yoga 520 comes in a 14 inch and a 15 inch models with 360 degree hinges, has support for an Active Pen and has 16 GB of RAM inside. The CPU varies between the two versions where the 14 inch Full HD model will available with a CPU up to a Core i7 Kaby Lake CPU and various storage options like 512 GB of PCIe SDD. up to 1 TB of SATA HDD and a hybrid storage with 128 GB of SSD and 1 TB SATA HDD. Other features are two USB 3.0 ports, USB Type C support, HDMI, ethernet support, a HD webcam, Harman Kardon speakers and a fingerprint as an option. The Yoga 520 will be available in the colors black, silver and gold.

Lenovo Yoga 720

The Lenovo Yoga 720 is a high end covertible tablet from Lenovo with a 4k display as a choice which is available in a 13.3 inch and 15.6 inch display. Inside there is an Intel Kaby Lake i7 processor and supports upto 16GB of RAM and upto 1TB of PCIe SDD. Furthermore the Lenovo Yoga 720 has 360 degree hinges, Thunderbolt 3/USB Type C ports, USB 3.0, USB 3.1 ports, a displayPort and a fingerprint scanner.

Concerning the battery usage, Lenovo promises 8 hours of battery life for the 13.3 inch model while the 4K  version will have a battery life of 7 hours. The 15.6 inch version will have a battery life of 9 hours while the 4K model has a battery life of 8 hours. The Lenovo Yoga 720 will be available from April this year.

Lenovo Miix 320

Finally the Lenovo Miix 320, which will be a 2-in-1 tablet. The 10.1 inch FullHD device will run on an Intel Atom X5 processor, upto 4GB of RAM and upto 128GB of internal storage. Furthermore the device supports WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, stereo speakers, a detachable keyboard and has a battery life of 10 hours. The Lenovo Miix 320 will be available from April and a starting retailprice of $200.
