Yesterday we showed you a video with some features of the Elephone P9000 Android 7.0 release. In that article we mentioned that there will be a testrelease soon. Well, soon is already today!
After constant testing and debugging, the Elephone P9000 Android 7.0 beta firmware has finally been released. The available firmware is still a beta version, but the official version of the P9000 Android 7.0 update is expected soon in a follow-up.
In this release there are still some known bugs. At this moment the fingerprint is temporarily not working and some other functions are at a temporarily unstable shape, but they are still working.
According to Elephone, the P9000’s Android 7.0 firmware is planned to get updated via OTA in the future. However, current users with Android 6.0 can only get this upgrade to Android 7.0 by a flash method.
Elephone is asking users to send feedback to their forum to fix (new) bugs. If you want to test out the beta release and you aware about the possible consequences of flashing, you can download the beta version here.
