Like we said earlier, next to the announcement of the Mi Mix 2 and Mi Notebook Pro, Xiaomi also presented its new Mi Note 3 phablet. This will be the next iteration in the phablet series and serves as a flagship for people who are looking for such a device.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has a 5.5-inch LCD screen and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. It has 6GB of RAMy and users can choose 64 or 128 GB of storage. One of the highlights of the new Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is a dual camera setup with a 12 megapixel sensor and a 16 megapixel sensor. One sensor has a wide-angle lens, while the has a telephoto lens that offers two-dimensional optical zoom. In addition, both cameras feature optical image stabilization allowing you to make sharp shots.
The Mi Note 3 has an aluminum frame and a glass back. The backside is further bent slightly so the device should be well-placed in the hand. It has a 3,500 mAh battery, a NFC chip, infrared sensor and stereo speakers. Additionally, a fingerprint scanner is installed underneath the Home button below the display and can be unlocked by face detection.
The 64GB variant costs 2,499 yuan, converted around $382. The 128GB version costs 2,899 yuan/ $443 and for the more expensive blue variant, which has 128 GB of storage you will pay 2,999 yuan/ $459.
When the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will be available is still unknown.
