A new device by Xiaomi is coming, according to recent reports the Xiaomi Meri is benchmarked on Antutu and GeekBench yesterday and reveals details about this device.
First start with Antutu, on the screenshots we can see that the Xiaomi Meri scores a total of 63581 points which means we are not dealing with a high-end phone. On one of the pictures we see also a comparison with the LG V10 and even scores higher in some categories.
On GeekBench, the Xiaomi Meri has scored 758 points in the single core test and 3105 in the multi-core test. The Xiaomi Meri runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has 3GB of RAM.
In-house made chipset
It can be possible that the above scores are from an in-house made Xiaomi chipset which a source reported at Xiaomi reported earlier this year. The chips should be used in lower-priced phones which are planned to be released in the second half of this year. Weibo account @Science and Technology thinks the unknown chip in the Xiaomi Meri is one of the in-house made chips from the company. An information page from the phone’s Antutu result also shows the processor has a Mali-T860 GPU and that the Meri has will have 5.46 inch 1080p display.
