Previously, we got a video of the IP68 rated Ulefone Armor 2 showing quite good waterproof performance, but how about the dust-proof performance? Check out the latest video from Ulefone and you might get a clue.
In a new test video made by the folks from Ulefone, first the Armor 2 was put in a bowl with some dry flour. After fully stirring, the tester took the phone out from the bowl and checked the camera and speaker, everything worked. Then come to a harder part, the tester added water into the bowl, stirred again and then wash all the mess up. Guess what? It came out working pretty well as if nothing had ever happened. The test seems quite easy-peasy for the Armor 2 as theoretically it can withstand submersion in concrete at a depth of 1 meter for 24 hours.
On top of being highly resistant to dust and water, the Armor 2 is a good performer as well. It comes with Helio P25 octa-core processor clocked at 2.6GHz, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, 4700mAh battery with 9V/2A PE+2.0 fast charge supported, 5.0-inch FHD display with 441 PPI, 16MP rear camera, 13MP front shooter, front fingerprint sensor, gyroscope, barometer, and NFC supported. And the Armor 2 also support extensive 27 frequency bands under 6 network types.
As far as the design is concerned, the housing of the Armor 2 is made of flexible TPU with some parts in glass fiber reinforced polycarbonate material and metal, while the display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3, such a combination makes the Armor 2 highly strong, and adaptable. There are also six physical buttons on the edges for handy operation — power on/off button, volume +/- button, PTT button, shutter button, and SOS button.
