While the Samsung battery problems are still fresh in our memory, Chinese manufacturer Bluboo, has been working on safe battery in their latest Bluboo Edge device. With a curvy design and good specifications for it’s price it’s a smartphone to take in consideration for your next buy. The Bluboo Edge features also a 2600mAh Li-polymer battery and the company recently released a video showing the testing of Bluboo Edge’s battery security.
The video shows that even when the battery is subjected to tests like a projectile flame test, short-circuit test and an impact test. At the end of each test the battery is complete destroyed, but will never explode, thanks to use of the Li-polymer battery. For your information, the Samsung Note 7 packed a Li-ion battery, which is more likely to explode.
In addition to the safe battery, the Bluboo Edge features also an unique dual-curve design, a 5.5″ OGS display with HD resolution, a quad-core chipset and a 13 Megapixel Sony IMX230 rear camera. The Bluboo Edge is still on presale for just $109.99 at Gearbest.
