UMi has officially introduced its brand new UMi Z. As expected, the 5.5 inch smartphone comes with a Helio X27. It is the first device with the new SoC and the presale will start today until early 2017. After the presale period is ended the units will be sent to the customers. According to various reports, the UMi Z will have a pricetage of $279.99 .
The UMi Z is the first smartphone with a Helio X27 as a SoC. The Helio X27 is the successor of the Helio X25 and consume up to 30 percent less energy and has a better performance. In addition to the SoC, the dual camera of the UMi Z will be another highlight. The setup features a double 13 megapixel Samsung S5K3L8 sensor. In addition it has PDAF and a quad flash which should provide even higher luminosity.
Other features include a Sharp 5.5 inch FullHD display, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM which can be expanded via microSD card, Android 6.0 is pre-installed (and will get 7.0 by OTA) and the UMi Z is powered by a “Pump Express Plus” battery with 3780 mAh.
