After a few weeks of news leaks, Ulefone has finally published their first dual-camera product, the Ulefone Gemini, on their official website. Ulefone claims it will be the best priced high-end product you will find on the market.
Ulefone Gemini’s dual back camera system includes a 13 megapixel main camera for imaging and a 5 megapixel subcamera to control the depth of focus for blurred background. The front camera has a interpolated resolution of 8 megapixels while beautification tools are provided for better selfie.
Ulefone Gemini features MTK6737T 1.5GHz chipset, 3GB LPDDR3 RAM, 32GB storage, 5.5 inch FHD display, 3250mAh Sony Li-polymer battery and gyro sensor. All the components have been stuffed in a metal unibody got by CNC machine from a block of magnesium-aluminum alloy with the edge chamferred for premium look. A fingerprint scanner has been intergrated into the home button which is placed under the display, offering multiple functions such as call answer, camera shutter, screenshot, besides screen and app lock. For system navigation, there are on-display popup keys while the fingerprint scanner can also be set as a back button. Running on stock Android 6.0, the Ulefone Gemini will be upgraded into Nougat in a few months.
