While the first leaks are going around the net, it seems like Nokia wants to return to the market in 2017. According to reports Finland-based HMD Global is expected to announce 5 new models in 2017 where the first Nokia-branded smartphone is expected to be announced in February 2017 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC).
According to industry sources, Nokia has planned 4 more models to launch in the second and third quarters of 2017.
So what can we expect from Nokia? The four new models will have display sizes ranging from 5.0-5.7-inch at WQHD or Full HD resolutions. According to sources Nokia’s panelpartners include LG Display, Century Technology (CTC) and Innolux while FIH Mobile will be there production partner.
It’s likely that the first Nokia smartphone that will be presented at the MWC will be the Nokia D1C which will be available in two versions with a variantion of RAM and display size according to a Chinese-language technews.com report.
Concerning pricing the most advanced variant will have a pricetag of $200 which features 3GB of RAM and a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080p) display. The cheaper variant will be around $150 and features a 5-inch Full HD display and 2GB variant.
