Meizu’s product line-up for 2017 leaked

Today a product schedule has been leaked which said to be Meizu’s lineup for 2017. The product schedule outlines the different Meizu smartphones that are expected to be released in 2017 and in which month they will be available. According to the leaked paper, Meizu will start with the release of the M5S in February which features a MT6753 chipset while the Meizu Pro 7 can be expected in June featuring a Helio X30 chipset followed by the Meizu S with the Helio P25 chipset in July. In the last quarter of 2017 we can expect the MX7 with an Helio P30 chipset in September and in October the Meizu Note 6 will be released which is powered by an Helio P20 chipset.

In addition there will be another device released in December. This device is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 626 chipset instead. The model’s name has been shredded so we can’t tell what it is. This sounds good, but the Snapdragon 626 was announced in October this year which means this handset will be featuring an old chipset during its release. Moreover the Snapdragon 626 chipset supports many useful features like 14nm process technology, Adreno 506 GPU, X9 LTE modem, up to 4K Ultra HD video playback and many more. Time will tell…
