Chinese manufacturer Meizu has announced two new smartphones, the Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus. Both phones have a large AMOLED front display and a much smaller AMOLED display on the back. With this setup, the device can display information when the main screen is turned off.
Users can use the secondary display for viewing notifications, but also as a viewfinder to make a selfie with the cameras on the back. In addition, the display can show buttons to control music. The rear display is a 2 inch display with an unknown resolution. The earlier reported e-ink display seems to be incorrect, because this one is just a normal OLED display.
The front display is a 5.2 inch FHD Super AMOLED or 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED variation. Furthermore the Pro 7 Plus features a MediaTek Helio X30 chipset and 6GB of RAM. On the normal Pro 7 you will find a MediaTek Helio P25 chipset along with 4GB.
