Lenovo has officially launched the ZUK Edge today during an online conference. The Lenovo ZUK Edge is equipped with a Snapdragon 821 chipset, Adreno 530 GPU, a 4GB or 6GB of RAM variation and super fast 64GB of UFS 2.0 internal storage. The smartphone features a 5.5 inch display with a 2.5D curved glass on top and Lenovo claims a 1500:1 contrast ratio and 85% NTSC color coverage. Below the display there’s a fingerprint sensor with an unlocking time of 0.09 seconds.
On the back there’s a 13 megapixel camera placed with phase detection autofocus, f/2.2 aperture and 1.34μm pixel size. Below the camera there is a LED flash. The phone features Dirac HD Sound for better Hi-Fi audio and has 3.5mm audio jack port. In terms of connectivity, there’s 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and USB Type-C. The battery is 3100mAh and supports Quick Charge 3.0.
The ZUK Edge measures 142.9 x 74.5 x 7.68mm in size and weighs 160 grams. It is expected that Lenovo will release the ZUK Edge on the market from January 1st and will be available in Ceramic White and Titanium Black. Pricing for the 4GB RAM version is $330, where the 6GB RAM model will be around $360.
