Huawei P10 and P10 Plus announced at MWC2017

Huawei has announced the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus during the MWC 2017 in Barcelona. The Huawei P10 will feature the Kirin 960 chipset which is the same chipset that features in the Huawei Mate 9 that was released a half year ago. The chipset has 4 A73 cores running on a 2.4 GHz and 4 A53 cores running on 1.8GHz. Concerning the GPU and the Huawei P10 features the G71MP8 by ARM . Furthermore the P10 features a 5.1 inch display with a resolution of 1920×1080, while the Huawei P10 Plus will have a quad HD 2560×1440 resolution and a display size of 5.5 inch.

In memory the Huawei P10 will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while the P10 Plus will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Also the battery has some differences between the models, the Huawei P10 has a 3200 mAh battery with supercharge technology, while the Huawei P10 Plus will has a 3750mAh battery.

The Huawei P10 features a Leica dual-camera 2.0 setup. The rear camera’s are a 12 megapixel RGB camera and a 20 megapixel monochrome camera. Also here is a difference between the models, the P10 will have an aperture of f/2.2 while the Huawei P10 Plus has a aperture of f/1.8.

The Huawei P10 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1. EMUI 5.1 it Huawei’s latest “skin” which will improve on performance, functionality and user experience. With the so called Machine Learning Algorythm the device will learn the acting of the user to optimize the memory and app usage.

The Huawei P10 will be available in black. blue, gold and silver. The (european) price will be €699 / $736 for the 64GB version, while Plus with 128GB will be available for €799/ $842.
