According to an official invite by Huawei, the Honor 9 will be unveiled upcoming June 27th during the presentation in Berlin. The company has send out its invitations last Monday to invite the international press. The invitation doesn’t mention the Honor 9, but it’s a big chance that the Honor 9 will be unveiled, due to the many rumors about this device have been circulating for some time on the internet now.

According to these rumors its design will looks almost the same as its predecessor which means it will have a glass housing on both the front and the back. There is only one big difference: the fingerprintsensor is moved from the back to the front. In specifications rumors told us that the Honor 9 will feature the Kirin 955 or Kirin 960 as chipset, 4 GB of RAM (although 6GB of RAM is also mentioned) and a storage capacity of 32GB which can be expanded to 256GB via MicroSD.
According to the latest reports, we can expect a dual camera setup with a 20 and 12 megapixel camera including laser auto focus and dual LED flash. A USB-C connection is also available, as well as Android 7.0 or 7.1 Nougat as the operating system. Furthermore the Smart Key may have been processed in the Home button and Honor would have decided to leave the headphones entrance, just like the iPhone 7.
