Honor V9 officially announced with 3D modeling camera

Honor has officially announced their latest flagship. The Honor the V9 features a large 5.7 inch screen with a Quad HD 1440 x 2560 resolution for displaying clear images. On the back their will be a dual 12 megapixel camera setup with f/2.2 aperture. According to Honor the V9 will excel in light-sensitivity despite the f/2.2 aperture because of the use of smart software and the presence of a dual LED flash.

The camera of Honor V9 also has a unique feature; the camer of the V9 has the ability to capture images in 3D and then turns it into a 3D model. You can immediately afterwards send it to a 3D printer so you can print a copy. The front camera has 8 megapixels for your selfies and video calling.

Furthermore the housing of the Honor V9 is made of metal and will be available in black, blue, gold and red. On the inside their is a HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor, which is accompanied by Mali-G71 graphics chip. For your information it’s the same octa-core chipset found within the Huawei Mate 9. In memory their will be 3 variations available: 4GB RAM/ 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM/ 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM/128 GB ROM. The Honor V9 has a 4000 mAh battery, USB Type C for connectivity. dual-SIM support and a fingerprint scanner. The Honor V9 will have Android 7.0 preinstalled with its own EMUI 5.0 shell.

The 4 GB RAM / 64 GB ROM model will be available for 2599 Yuan ($377), a 6 GB / 64 GB variant at 2999 Yuan ($436) and the high-end 6 GB / 128 GB version for 3499 Yuan ($508) and will  be available in China from February 28th. It is still unclear whether the V9 also coming to other countries then China.
