Entry-level Ulefone S8 Pro officially launched with $79.99 pricetag

Ulefone has just released the 6GB RAM& dual-camera flagship device Ulefone T1, followed closely is the launch of a budget dual camera phone, the Ulefone S8 Pro which is available for merely $79.99. What we can expect from this budget smartphone? Let’s check it out.

Like its predecessor the Ulefone S8, the S8 Pro comes with a dual camera setup on the back with a 13 megapixel main shooter to capture main object and a 5 megapixel sub sensor to capture depth information. With this setup it allows you to take pictures with DSLR-level bokeh effects. Meanwhile, on the front there is 5 megapixel camera paired with a softlight for enhanced selfie experience.

Well, as far as internal hardware goes, the S8 Pro is powered by a MT6737 quad-core 1.3Hz processor with 4G LTE network supported, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It also packs a 3000mAh battery which could offer you battery juice for one-day usage. Also a fingerprint reader is placed on the back with unlocking speed up to 0.18s.

Although the S8 Pro is a budget phone, Ulefone doesn’t not compromise on its build quality. The S8 Pro features a metal frame, an elegantly curved back cover for comfortable grip feeling and 2.5D glass that covers the front panel.

It’s worth mentioning that the S8 Pro packs a 5.3-inch HD display with extra-thin bezels which are just 0.5mm wide. That’s rare for phones in this price range. The S8 Pro also has 3 card slots with 2 for SIM cards and 1 for a (upto 128GB) micorSD card.

The S8 Pro would run Android 7.0 Nougat as the OS. Currently it’s listed on the Ulefone official website. And you could grab one for example with $79.99 here.
