Ulefone has launched a 5.3-inch budget phone today. The Ulefone S8 will have a launch pricetag of only $69.99 with a TPU case as gift. The Ulefone S8 is composed of a steeply curved back cover, a hard metal frame and 2.5D glass. What’s remarkable on the design is that Ulefone has managed to narrow the display bezels to 0.5mm for an immersive viewing and single-handed experience which is rarely seen on devices of the same price range.
For photography, the Ulefone S8 has been equipped with a dual camera setup with a 13MP (interpolated) major camera and a depth-of-field camera which helps to generate the bokeh effect. For selfies, there is an LED on the front side of the Ulefone S8 which can be used as either a flash or always-on light. Below the rear camera, a fingerprint scanner is placed which supports at most 5 IDs and multi-functions.
The 5.3-inch display has HD resolution with a pixel density of 277PPI. On the inside there is a MTK6580 quad-core 1.3GHz chipset, as well as a 3000mAh li-polymer battery to offer you the juice for one day use. Users can remove the back cover to replace the battery or to insert at most 2 SIM cards plus one 128GB SD card.
The Ulefone S8 will come with the Android 7.0 operating system with OTA update support. For colors, there are black and white versions in stock for purchase while the golden version will come later.
