At this moment we don’t have the complete information, but it seems like Doogee is working on a new photo centric smartphone which is expected to be the successor of the Doogee Shoot, the Doogee Shoot 2. This information is also confirmed by the the first we have received.
From our source we know that the Doogee Shoot 2 features a dual 5 megapixel camera which is co-engineered with Huawei. The dual camera setup will be a combination of a 5 megapixel RGB sensor for a higher color saturation and the 5 megapixel monochrome sensor for the details makes it possible to snap better pictures, including bokeh effect. The camera setup also supports PDAF. No worries in low light conditions, thanks to the dual camera setup the Doogee Shoot 2 will offer better photo quality in the conditions.
From other information we can tell you that the Shoot 2 will have a 5-inch HD display with 450 nit brightness with 2.5D glass,, a 3100mAh polymer battery produced by ATL (Amperex Technology Limited) to ensure longer usage, a front fingerprint sensor and it is expected to run on Android 7 Nougat.
A pricetag for the Doogee Shoot 2 and the used SoC are still unknown, but we can already tell you that the Doogee Shoot 2 will be available in two variants: 1GB RAM + 8GB ROM and 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM. Concerning the pricetag, we expect that the price will not be too high.
