Like we mentioned earlier, the upgraded Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 4G has been announced on December 23rd. The 4G model is a with China Mobile, a partnership was made by the two companies because the upgraded notebook has a built in LTE modem that can be used with any SIM cardwhere China Mobile is offering dataplans for it.
As it’s no surprise, the new notebook has the same design as the previous generation, it’s still made of metal and is available in two variants with 12.5 inch and 13 inch display. In specifications there is also nothing changed, both notebooks have a FullHD resolution display where the 13 inch version is more powerful than the smaller version with an Intel Core i7 chipset clocked at 3.0 GHz with 8GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD hard drive and GeForce 940MX graphics card. All this can run for 9.5 hours on the battery.
The 12.5 inch version features an Intel Core M3-6Y30 processor clocked up to 2.2 GHz and an Intel HD Graphics GPU 515. Furthermore the notebook has 4GB DDR3 RAM and a 128GB SSD hard drive.
The notebooks are available in two colors; gold and silver and priced as follows:
- 12.5-inch version: 4699 yuan (appr. $676)
- 13.3-inch version: 6999 yuan (appr. $1010)
It’s a must said that the notebooks won’t be available outside China market.
